Delivery instructions and Authority to Leave
Unless you request otherwise at the time of placing your order, all parcels are sent with Authority to Leave (ATL). This authorises the delivery carrier to leave your parcel at the delivery address without obtaining a signature, where the carrier considers it safe and appropriate to do so.
If you do not wish to have your parcel left unattended, you must advise us when placing your order. Please note that opting out of Authority to Leave may affect delivery options and may result in additional delivery requirements or charges.
Where Authority to Leave applies, please ensure that your delivery address is correct and that you have provided any relevant delivery instructions. We recommend choosing a delivery address where parcels can be left securely.
Missed delivery and parcel collection
If the carrier is unable to complete delivery, the carrier may contact you by SMS, email or another available notification method with instructions for redelivery or collection. Depending on the carrier's procedures and the circumstances, your parcel may be taken to a local post office or collection point for collection.
It is your responsibility to monitor delivery notifications and tracking updates and to follow the carrier's instructions within the timeframe provided. Where a parcel is awaiting collection, you are responsible for collecting it before the carrier's collection deadline.
If a parcel cannot be delivered or collected and is returned to us because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to follow collection instructions, or failure to collect the parcel within the carrier's specified timeframe, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order. Any applicable charges will be communicated to you before a replacement shipment is arranged.
If a parcel is returned to us and redelivery is required, we will contact you to discuss the available options. We are not obliged to dispatch a replacement parcel free of charge where the original delivery has failed due to circumstances attributable to the customer, subject always to your rights under applicable consumer law.
These provisions do not limit your rights where a delivery failure is attributable to us or where you are otherwise entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer law.
Delivery address and receipt
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are accurate and complete when placing your order. You are responsible for providing suitable access to the delivery address and any necessary delivery instructions.
Where a parcel is left under Authority to Leave, the carrier's delivery record may be used as evidence of delivery. Where a parcel is accepted by a person at the delivery address, that person may be presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf, unless the circumstances indicate otherwise.
Your invoice and applicable delivery documentation will be provided electronically or otherwise made available in connection with your order.
Delivery delays and consumer rights
We make every reasonable effort to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered within the estimated timeframes. However, delivery estimates are not guarantees.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
