Return & Refund Policy

At The Beauty Store, we comply with Australian Consumer Law, which means you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product has a major fault, is damaged, or is not as described.

Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns Timeframe

All return requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your order.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is:

  • Faulty or defective

  • Damaged in transit

  • Incorrect or not as described

Please contact us at hello@thebeautystore.au within 14 days and include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

Once assessed, we will provide a replacement, refund, or store credit.

Change of Mind

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns for change of mind on cosmetics, skincare, or any beauty products.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened or used cosmetics or skincare

  • Products that have been swatched or tested

  • Items without original packaging

  • Clearance or final sale items

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders are processed quickly to ensure fast dispatch.

Once an order has been paid for and entered processing, it cannot be cancelled, changed, or modified.

Please ensure your order details and shipping address are correct before completing your purchase. 

Refund Processing

If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method

  • Processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

In some cases, we may offer store credit or a gift voucher instead.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card provider

  3. Contact your bank, as processing times can vary
